Brande Urban
Brande Urban is a motivational advocate who encourages young people to make the drug-free choice. Since 1992, Brande has assisted thousands of teens in voicing their choice to positively influence their peers. She coordinates the Youth to Youth Speakers' Bureau, which has trained teens from around the world to entertain, educate, and inform while spreading the drug-free message.
An ally for teens, Brande humorously identifies with their current everyday life challenges. She empowers youth to take a deeper look at their actions and decisions, particularly when it comes to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs through unique, individual stories. Brande's premiere presentation, Life As You Know It, focuses on each teen seeing themselves as part of the "big picture." The choices we make today may not only affect our lives, but other's decisions and lives. Students feel support in taking a stand on important issues they feel passionate about in their lives. She shares simple steps for anyone to make a positive difference in their schools and communities.
